That’s the real advantage of having multiple alma-maters. More chances to gloat come the NCAAs.
The last time was Kansas State in 1981 when I ended up working in Oregon after my B.S. That was just after K–State had beat Oregon for #3 in the Final Four that spring.
“So, you’re from Kansas, eh? You didn’t by chance go to Kansas State, did you?”
“Uhhh, I’m a long way from home and you’re my boss, Mr. Oregon alumni. Do I have to answer that right now?”
